The Local 4 Music Fund offers a diverse array of musical programs designed to enrich Northeast Ohio's cultural landscape. Our initiatives span from innovative concert series and festivals to educational outreach and artist support programs. We strive to showcase local talent, promote underrepresented voices, and make high-quality music accessible to all community members. Through our varied programming, we aim to foster a vibrant, inclusive music scene that resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, while nurturing the next generation of musicians and music lovers.

She Scores

A program highlighting underrepresented female composers. Launched in 2021, it has gained national and international attention, showcasing works by women in classical and contemporary music.

Hingetown Jazz Festival
An annual event started in 2023 that celebrates jazz music while supporting local businesses. It features regional jazz musicians performing at various venues in Cleveland's Hingetown neighborhood.

Soundlab 216
Starting in 2021, this initiative supports local musicians and artists by nurturing creative ideas and fostering collaboration. It provides a platform for experimentation and development of new musical and interdisciplinary projects.

Chris Haff-Paluck Memorial Concert Series
Launched in 2022 in Rocky River, this chamber music series honors the memory of Chris Haff-Paluck. It brings high-quality chamber music performances to the community and has been renewed annually.

Education
Educational Outreach: Re-initiated in 2021, this program focuses on bringing music directly to schools and students. It includes in-school performances, ensemble residencies, and interactive student shows. The goal is to foster music appreciation and education among young people, nurturing the next generation of musicians and music lovers in Northeast Ohio.
